It's a dangerous thing when the media starts applying its own self-censorship when it feels like it. Besides, you'd have to be retarded to not put it all together and realise the person in question is Rolph Harris. FACT- The man was arrested.

On the other hand, as Horrie said, the likeliest senario was that he knew what was happening but did'nt report it. If he is officially named people will assume he is a kiddie fiddler & given his fragile mental state, that could be disasterous.

There's probably a bit of introspection here following the Lord McAlpine fiasco.

Then the question would be why he didn't report it?

Not sure about that. I tend to agree with RD about the Pope bit.

I for one would be quite keen to see a Pope play a wobble board.

Publicist Max Clifford charged with 11 counts of indecent assault, against women and girls aged 14-19.

Reminds me of the famous Viz letter: "If Max Clifford is so good at PR, then how come everyone thinks he's a c*nt?"

Bill Roache, Coronation Street's Ken Barlow, arrested on suspicion of raping a 15 year old girl in 1967.

Apparently we didn't have police in this country until very recently.
