Knees are a bit of a mofo though... know some bird who went on one of those bronco machines, got thrown off, landed just a little awkwardly - nothing too untoward - and they're on about the possibility of amputating because of some knee shit. Bad times.

I have a suggestion - become a part of an injury racket.

We provide an injury-providing service?

You could sell this on the phone. "We will provide you with an injury free of charge against which you are legally entitled to make a monetary claim, which could run into tens or hundreds of thousands of pounds awarded in court as a result of our crack team of experts"

C'mon man, don't you know anything. You get people to injure themselves, sue the injurer and share the profits. Big in Yanksville. And Banville.

You need a doctor on your side, though, which is a beatch. Usually have to get one that's tucking into the legal drugs.

Wowzer... get saving man. Either that or learn medicine and get yourself a hooky prescription drug dealer.

8m won't be enough.

Have you considered moving to a less expensive country?

8m, if you put it in the bank, would give you a very decent life in some places, I'm guessing.

Only about 600k USD.

The only saving grace is that SA is still relatively cheap.

Yep.

We have a government pension, but only to fund a very basic lifestyle. I don't understand how anyone without their own roof over their head can survive. Some are eligible for govt. housing, but most who need it are on waiting lists which go on forever. Our utilities are frightfully expensive and ever rising. For the average earners, retirement will be a frugal affair here too.

Three finals this weekend, five on the weekend just gone but little in the way of cricket. Gay marriage and Armageddon only worth a couple of posts. What is the point.

Aye. Apathy has well and truly set in.

We need a 3-2 Ashes series to spark things.

No argument here, tho I would like a 5-0 result again.

Wish someone would distract Trunp from NK. The NFL are trying their best but the dropkick still ordered bombers on a flypass of NK . What a stoopid thing to do. The other dear leader in NK will be tempted to fly one or two of their crates near Guam.

Would maybe post more but new job has resulted in barely any time to be at home, let alone post shit on a forum (which I still manage to do).
