Ray Williams and his dodgy "Hawkesbury Club", where he charged $990 for membership (just below the declarable $1,000 donation). A stack of developers signed up as "Members".

Dodgy as fark. Gladys was obviously being "sting-pulled" by Lib State HQ to not take action, like fark Williams off right away.

Amazing result in WA. The Libs have been decimated. One Nation fizzed, garnering a poor vote.

I see that the Fluoride Free WA party looks like jagging an upper house seat.

Maybe Hanson has achieved her aim - in 20 years time Wozzies will start looking like Queenslanders.

Well, we can sit back and laugh at the idiot Wozzies, as they get royally farked up the arse by the doltish Pinkos.

Look what happened the last time a voting populus decided "they've been there long enough" was a factor in punting a successful govt - Aus put farkin Krudd then the Vulture in charge to completely fark the economy and foreign debt position, and turn Aus into a welfare state.

Notice I didn't qualify "successful govt", because only the Blues can ever manage the economy properly.

I actually think Hanson had a point. The vote was'nt so much against the Libs but against Barnett. The qunt had no fans in Tas due to his constant bleatings to have our share of the GST reduced. Good riddance to the prick.

Bullshit argument, h. Krudd spent every cent of the $50 Bill surplus LJH left him. So LJH and Smirk saved the Aus economy during the GFC - and you know it. In return the Vulture left the Libs a $300 Bill Deficit. Pinko qunts.

Voters in one State giving a rat's tossbag in hell about how their Akela's whinging effects another State? Any polly or spin-doctor who makes that happen for more than about 1.89 milliseconds is a genius.....

If qunt Howard had spent the money during his time building schools, hospitals, roads, aquaducts etc instead of massively enlarging our welfare bill buying middle class votes (middle class? I was eligible for part of it coz mrs qmy didn't work FFS!) we might have survived the GFC without pink and wide things, and improved our productivity at a permanent reform level .

Phuuuuuuurt. The last Centrelink budget under LJH was $700 Mill. The first under Krudd was $2,800 Mill (and they blew out massively under the Vulture) FFS!!!!! Talk about classic Pinko Maths. PMSL at silly Pinko drone.

you are using a pinko definition of sharing

Barnett was a victim of three word slogans being more catchy than long winded tldr explanations

two shonky deals with western power privatisation ( or fire sale as the unions labelled it) and Roe 8 ( the Road to Nowhere built over 'environmentally fragile' wetlands on a plan written on a dirtier napkin than the pinko's NBN ) didnt help him

Barnett probably didnt personally agree with either but the feds chucked $1billion at Roe 8 and they were trying to rein in debt with the western power sale

Tasmania, as everyone knows, has many economic challenges. Tas Gross Domestic Product has been in a long term decline as a share of Oz GDP. NT has a disproportionately large pool of unemployed or underemployed people and a dispersed population.

Roughly the formula for distribution of Federal funds takes into account the cost of constant delivered public services and the ability of each jurisdiction to raise revenue from State Taxes and charges.

While NT has scope for revenue from mining it has a small dispersed and often impoverished population. Tas has poor current prospects of raising cash from its population.... stamp duty is an example.
