Kohli- The best of all time?
Well?
Before any of you hit the roof, I should point out I'm talking ODIs and T20s here. Give him a target to chase and the man transforms into a machine.

Bevan and Dhoni are better.

Highly debatable. Kohli's stats when chasing are remarkable.

His innings today was outstanding - to wait as long as he did before launching the counter-attack, and then to pick on the oppo's best death bowler is the mark of a man very sure in his own talent.
He's still a gobby little prick though.

He's amongst the very best in the shorter formats, certainly. Right up there
Re: Kohli- The best of all time?
As good a limited overs batsman as any I've seen. Builds innings and finished them regularly. Still a twat, but a seriously good twat.

He only seems a twat on the field though. Comes across as a decent bloke in interviews.
He could be Australian.

Aye, that slow ball is fodder if batsmen sit back in the crease and set themselves, He gets wickets when people charge him on the front foot.

Yeah 20:20 etc etc, but it was an incredible innings against Australia. He mostly played pure cricket strokes, and seemed to score when he wanted.
It was a masterclass, and I will say that in the limited overs format it may have been equaled, but I have not seen it surpassed for sheer class.

Has now out-qunted Kumble ...

So yes, I think that makes him the best.

Nice. E-Coli goes to the BCCI to say he has "reservations" about the Coach. Sounds like he is looking for a scapegoat (other than himself) for the Champions Trophy Final loss.

This has been an ongoing issue from the aftermath of the Australian tour. From the bits we've been fed, Kumble seems to be a bit authoritarian in his management for the squad's liking. Looking for more of a kirsten type coach. Kumble's advice on selections were on point, fwiw.
I do like how much Kohli riles up some Australians, particularly in the media. Growing to somewhat like him.

enjoyed e-coli's captain's knock in the final as well as his acumen in the field.
I doubt no other cricketer has been so profoundly found out by a Trevving.

Re: Kohli- The best of all time?
Apparently the last straw was Kumble telling Kohli in a one-on-one net session: "There are two cricketing legends out here mate, but only one is playing cricket, mate"

Sorry Shaktimaan. Just so difficult to identify the one legend in a team full of them.
But in all honesty, I hope anyone but that walking gobshit Sehwag gets the coaches job. Last I read about his involvement was that he wrote a 2 line resume. He can shove that up either of his orifices which spew substantial amounts of shit.
