IF they didn't see them, how do they know there were 20 raiders?

Just before midday today all the dogs in the area started howling. Might have been the result of the high-pitched scream coming from Natalie B.

Was 3/4 through watching this when I got the heinous news of Woody's passing. But I've just finished it in his honour (he liked the show).

S5E10 - WTF???

Spoiler:
Short and sweet, as Woody would've preferred...

- Stannis' army massacred by Bolton horde - Stannis killed by Brienne
- Sam leaves Castle Black
- Reek saves Sansa
- Arya kills Trant (delightfully brutally) but is blinded by Jaqen as punishment
- Myrcella dies after getting a poisoned goodbye kiss from Ellaria
- Imp, Greyworm & Missandei take over rule of Meereen as Jorah & Daario go of looking for Daeny
- Injured Drogon refuses to fly Daeny back & she is surrounded by horsemen
- Cersei confesses (sort of) & does the shitty/spitty full frontal Walk of Shame (if that was Lena Headey's bod - kudos - Woody would approve)
- Qyburn's frankenstein experiment is a success, & is sworn to revenge Cersei's shame
- The Night's Watch kill Jon Snow. What the actual fark???

my guess is that reports of certain deaths are greatly exaggerated, particularly Stannis.

Spoiler:
Jon died, there's absolutely no doubt there. The only possible route for him to return is to be resurrected by the lady in red (hence my last post).

He definitely died there though, they couldn't have made it any clearer other than having him decapitated.

Well from reading online, it's not looking good for a certain someone who copped it in the last episode. Actor isn't coming back for season 6.

Huh? As I have understood, Lady M will resurrect Jon - the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen - because he's Azor Ahai. You freaking idiots.

Couple of nice Star Wars moments with Jaimie's "I am your father" and then Theon going all ROTJ era Anakin where he threw the Emperor into the abyss.

Re: Right, it's like this (Game of Thrones) II

Post by vilkrang on Tue 16 Jun 2015, 13:56

Spoiler:
If Jon Snow is dead then it's actually pretty shitty story telling. To have built him up so much (particularly if R+L=J is true which the show hints at heavily as do the books) only to have him die before really having any impact to the main story is.... Well it's just crap isn't it. GRRM's point about the good guys not always winning in real life is great, but this is a story with ****** dragons.

I'll have absolutely no faith in any of the rest of the story if this is how such a big character's story end. The book would lose nothing by cutting out his entire story line if this is where it ends.
