Well it's the last time I volunteer to drive when attending a BBL game. I take back everything I said about it being just entertainment. Much alcohol must be required to make the game remotely bearable live.

Well, it looks like the Hurricanes are a hopeless joke again this season. Watched for a while but at 2/0 i switched off. It seems that every expensive 'big gun' they sign turns into a 'pop gun' when they don the purple. They'd be better off signing hungry wannabe's than over the hill stars just looking to boost their superannuation.

T20 is the vehicle for blokey mateship. Test cricket is not.

There's a lot of geriatrics running around in this BBL. The Husseys, Kallis, Hodge, Hogg.....

It's apparently meant to be a young man's game, but the old veterans still seem to be able to hold their own. Perhaps it's a sign that T20 aint much of a physical or mental test?
