Wade is a qunt, though. Wouldn't hurt him to have to sit out a few games.

Jofra Archer looks the goods. Qualifies for England in 2020, by which time he’ll be bowling 78mph and batting number 11 for Sussex.....

Re: Tower of BBL
Interesting story about at least one single team based State diddling the books by putting some specialist bbl players on State contracts, even tho they rarely if at all represent their State.
Apparently WA is one State*. Heard Nannes on the ABC discuss the issue. Seems that practice is well known and there is further shifty work around marketing deals.
Apparently the bnlg has gone off like a damp tom thumb cracker.

Nannes also said he knew of one State who deter players from playing for other bbl teams with the suggestion it may harm their prospects of playing in the Shield. Prolly not illegal but somewhat unethical.

you've outdone yourself on your normal level of ridiculous garbage
back it up with a fact and some names
you wont find a warriors contracted player who only plays BBL for the scorchers
Tye would be the closest ...but the NSP has put him in the current JAMODI squad and he plays the ODDs for the warriors ....all the others are rookies or shield players
Short and Wells are taking the opportunity to play at other BBL teams (pretty well too) and Stoinis was still contracted to the green vomits
Cartwright refused to sign with other teams (several seasons ago before he broke out) because he wanted to play with the Scorchers. That was Cartwrights choice and Langer or the WACA had no influence on it.
Murhead is the only non local on the Scorchers books ...they got him in a swap for Beer several seasons ago ....he isn't contracted this season (in as injury cover)
various vomits have been whinging all season about the scorchers ...obviously too hard for them to develop a half decent team so they have a sook

It was Nannes on the ABC. Also had a crack at whichever Melbourne team has KP. Apparently there is shifty 'marketing' deals involved.
Just passing on what I heard. Your story sounds plausible.

Storms in the tiny plastic tea cup of bbl I guess.
Each to their own. Success starved Sandies no doubt cleave to the tinsel bauble of bbl. I regret that comp farks our summer, but clearly the majority vote with their feet and bucket heads.
