Re: The Golf Thread (III)
Robert Allenby has been involved in another incident again. This time he was arrested outside a casino in Illinois at around 3am on Sunday morning.

Re: The Golf Thread (III)
I guess here's no law against being an arrogant, obnoxious rude wanker with a drinking problem, unless that behaviour actually leads to something illegal.
With each new incident that arises, his story about being "kidnapped" last year seems more and more laughable.
I wonder if/when he will own up and admit he has a problem.

2 over since then. Would've thought he'd be a bit less miserable about scoring a 60.
Pieters has to make it into the Ryder cup team, now.

Sam Torrance titwanking about Rory was getting a bit too much yesterday. Also a bit of needle regarding England's world cup team.
Curtis Luck is going to be pretty decent, isn't he.

Aye. He putts without fear.
Still a,work in progress but should be a very successful pro. Oz has several very capable young amateurs.

Re: The Golf Thread (III)
Belated congrats to Sam Brazel
"Unheralded Australian Sam Brazel claims a shock win at the Hong Kong Open on the European Tour. The 37-year-old maintained a steely focus after a brilliant approach shot set up what would be only the second birdie of the day on the difficult 18th, leading to the biggest win of his career."

Well done to the North Coast journeyman.

Re: The Golf Thread (III)
Cabrera Bello missed his birdie putt, which was the first of the putts in the group, by a couple of inches. It's funny given Brazel rejected ET associate member status last week as he felt his game wasn't good enough.
FWIW, Hend won the Asian Tour OOM.

Re: The Golf Thread (III)
I cannot imagine Kaymer, Cabrera Bello and Westwood would be greatly delighted by the conditions they had to play on. A very windy afternoon on Thursday (when they were on course after a benign morning) and similarly on Friday morning. By Friday afternoon, it was too windy/dusty to continue.

Yeah, he's one of the most likeable people on course. Hope he pulls through, and has his license rescinded forever.
