DeChambeau will need a provisional too... That mound on the left seems to be a decent place to miss the fairway.

Won last week on the PGA tour, now DeChambeau starts with a triple. Noren went with a driver on the first, and didn't get in trouble either.

I should learn to start shutting the f*ck up. His second on the sixth was one of the worst we'll see this week. Can't call it approach. 40 yards right and behind an electronic scorecard from the fairway

Provisional for me. And put the provisional 40 yards the other way.

Will only be able to see the golf in another hour and a half, but the scoring looks to have improved.

Conditions definitely eased off. Unfortunate for the very early starters.

Charley Hoffman now at 5 under and a share of the lead. He's led each of the majors this season at some point.

Proverbial round of two halves for Rory, seemed a hopeless cause for even making the cut at the turn but back in 32 to finish +1.

I should just give up. Rahm's had a 3 bogey start too.

Debate over whether it was right for the announcer to reference "Beef" Johnston by his nickname yesterday... not sure what's new here, I don't remember them ever introducing Tiger Woods as Eldrick...
