Rod Pampling shot a 61 today & is now joint leader of the Australian Open with Matt Jones who just shot a triple bogey.

61 at the Australian is some kind of round.

Scott into second with Speith having a shocker.

Twas a sensational round. I assume Cullen has qualified for the Open. Decent effort after his sensational collapse at the European Tour Q school.

Marc Leishman wins the Nedbank Golf Challenge. A good end to a year that saw some very worrying times with his wife's health problems in April & a tie for second in the British Open in July.

Italy gets the 2022 Ryder Cup when Spain and Germany were expected to. Probably more significant than that, though, is the fact that the Italian Open will have a purse of 7 million Euros from 2017, which would put it in the final series levels of pay as of now. Pelley really setting out to do what he said when taking over the European Tour.

Just caught up with the tournament of champions... Spieth can ****** off, really. 30 under.

Eurasia cup should be interesting with Westwood, Poulter there too. Jaidee, Lahiri, Aphibarnrat and Ben An makes a rather strong Asian team too.
