Puny AFL Live app is not worthy

"THE start of the AFL pre-season competition was a winner for just about everyone — except one group of very upset fans.

A week ago AFL boss Gillon McLachlan trumpeted the launch of the new version of the AFL Live app that would allow millions of fans to watch games live on their mobile devices.
...
There was just one problem. When fans who downloaded the app — and paid for a season pass if they aren’t a Telstra customer — tried to watch the first pre-season game on their iPad or tablet, they got a small surprise.

Seven inches, to be exact — that’s how big the app player is. That works fine if you’re watching on a smart phone but on a tablet it translates to a small screen surrounded by a lot of black."

Gillon McLachlan: "Isn't a tablet something you swallow with water???"

Cousens is back in the slammer after being arrested on thursday & refused bail. Its about time. He is a recidivist who has been given too may chances due to his AFL history.

Exactly. In WA if he was Aboriginal he'd already be 1/4 of the way through a hard sentence.

Yeah. We sure screwed up a hell of a lot of national goodwill after '67 to still be in this awful state of affairs.

I remember 67 and while I did not get a vote I gave the Referendum close attention and yes I remember the good will and optimism that flowed from righting a wrong.

That time seems long ago.

Bombers refuse to let their drug scandal die a quiet death

"disgruntled ex employees" make "false and unsubstantiated allegations" about the club using Mick Gatto to try and get info out of Shane Charters , cover up of cocaine use and sexual harassment

Bring on the pharken footy

aye.... I am especially sick of Essendon. They have been getting lots of soft attention all summer here, esp in boosting their prospects for the season...now this will consume yet more media space.

Although if a shithead like Dean Wallis gobs off about you or me we'd feel perfectly entitled to defend ourselves I'd guess....take Essendon out of DW's story and where the hell would he be now?

I suggest you post an image of the ladder at the end of the Round. It will probably be the last time the Tiges are in the top 4. Cool

It was actually nice to finally watch a game. Lost a bit of interest last year but will admit to just occasionally flicking over to the NRL instead of the other way.
