Aye Jim, it's cricket, but not as we know it.
Well it's appropriate I guess - Embee is FB's leading fan of the babal and Skully is a fan of all things bright and glittery....and so it came to pass...Embee's Scrunchies v Skully's Spiv Sickos.
I am waiting to hear Skully heap praise on Reeks ffs.

Geebers, I just read that Bell snubbed Princess A.
What a bastard! Over the years, we have failed to be hard enough on the shytehead.

My bro correctly points out that Bog will not be availanle for Perth. And the Spivs have fallen across the line while playing badly. Maybe that fraud Madman will actually do something & the Spivs will trouble the Scrunchies.

I reckon we have the batting to cover Bog ( who has been shit apart from the last two chases and probably only came good because I wrote him off)
however in lottocricket it doesnt take much for the good guys to have a bad day or for some dubber crab (Reeks Maddman Abbott) to have a blinder

One of the great features of Melbourne life, is you are guaranteed that 5 or 6 times each winter Eddie McGuire will blow his top about the Pies.
But this fun has been extended into the summer months. I'd forgotten he was chairing the Melbourne Stars. There he was in todays paper whingeing loud and long how CA had stuffed them up by failing to release players in the jamodi squad but not the team back to the Stars.
Soon he will rattle on about the salary cap, a bizarre position on drafting and the need for fewer tests in the Oz summer so the best players will be available to their babel teams.

Congrats to the Scrunchies. Looks a bit of a pizzling. Spivs were always gonna be choccy soldiers. Scorchers were the team of the season and deserve their title.

Re: Big Bash Borathon 2016/17
KP gets a $5k whack from CA for having a crack at an umpiring decision while miked up for Ch 10
I like Ch 10's coverage and the on field chats with players is good
This is the second 'drama' they have had with it this season though
The way the Stars disputed the decision ( which was wrong) was awful and they should have been pinged for it ...but they havent and CA caught some tame remark by KP for their piss up money (probably because he told boof to shut up)

'Cane management needs to do some homework & get some decent imports who are actually going to contribute instead of just stuffing their pockets with cash.

Ten are on the verge of bankruptcy so the BBL rights for next season are in the air.

Re: Big Bash Borathon 2016/17
News Corp are the obvious buyer for 10 but won't want to buy it if they think they can get the BBL cheaper on Foxtel anyway.
Unless Ch 9 step in to add some competitive tension (and they might if 10 are gone) then it looks bad for CAs revenues.

If the Big Bash went for 6 months and Masterchef went for 6 months then Ch 10 would breakeven ... a few simpsons re-runs would get them in the black

The wife watches the Aussie Masterchef and I am fairly certain it does run for 6 months.

Re: Big Bash Borathon 2016/17
Bell Tower Times suggestion for 10
Channel 10 are in a bit of a voluntary administrative pickle. To claw their way back they intend to combine their top flagship programs, The Project, MasterChef and The Bachelor into one steaming pile of televised shit: "Masterc*nt".
Contestants will be given 30 minutes to cook up the most patronising monologues about trending issues and will be judged on the obviousness, smugness and judgmental delivery of their spiels.
Now to cater for the desperate single women market, the winner of each episode will be given a rose by Waleed and get an exclusive date with the man and with any luck, get to touch his Gold Logie.
