I know and have even seen it. It was a bit strange but is not considered as canon.

The Casino Royale with Niven was a spoof & should not be included with the rest of the genre imho.

It also caused a few problems with the rights and the producers battled to get the naming rights back for the Daniel Craig remake, which IMHO is one of the best of all time.

Aided in no small way by Eva Green's jubblies.

BD That's pretty much generally agreed on as I understand it - different studio shot it, and it was a comedy/satire. By all accounts it was not very good, and a shambles on set.

Sounds like a clusterfcuk.

.The production proved to be rather troubled, with five different directors helming different segments of the film and with stunt co-ordinator Richard Talmadge co-directing the final sequence. In addition to the credited writers, Woody Allen, Peter Sellers, Val Guest, Ben Hecht, Joseph Heller, Terry Southern, and Billy Wilder are all believed to have contributed to the screenplay to varying degrees. Val Guest was given the responsibility of splicing the various "chapters" together, and was offered the unique title of "Co-ordinating Director" but declined, claiming the chaotic plot would not reflect well on him if he were so credited. His extra credit was labelled "Additional Sequences" instead.[17]

I saw it and remember it well. The best bit of the movie was the musical theme, although both Sellers and to a lesser extent Niven were worth watching at any time, even in this.

Anthony Foster, who suffered so cruelly but with dignity fought back and inspired many others to speak out. His work lives on.
