Looks like Chester took his life on the birthday of his friend Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden - who also took his own life by hanging himself just two months ago.

Both are known to have had issues with substance abuse (drugs & alcohol) and depression. I can't help wondering if there's some kind of connection between one and the other, as they seem to be factors in so many suicides.

Alcohol is an oft used management tool of depression ... and a poor tool. There may be more to it than that, but that's enough.

RIP Peter Doohan

Possibly not really a celebrity but he had his 15 minutes of fame when he defeated Boris Becker at Wimbledon.

A victim of Motor Neurone Disease.

I think (and it's a big think) the Aboriginal people up that way can be born with it despite neither parent having it. I know Melanesian babies are immunized at birth, and I mean within a couple of hours of birth. Mind you contracting hep on Aboriginal community isn't exactly difficult to do. 46! Fark!
