Good question. Many of the "Trump'' hotels are not his. He sold the owners the branding and was part of the spruik,

They'd be used to a bit of bluster round there, anyway.

Twitter to double length of tweets

"Since the dawn of Twitter, the social network has been defined by its limit: 140 characters. But in a tweet that offered a glimpse of what is to come, co-founder Jack Dorsey announced that the service plans to experiment with doubling that cap."

Has anyone read some of the past quotes of the guy that just won the Alabama senate seat. Truly f*cking scary stuff.

Parts of America never fail to shock me. It truly is a f*cked up country in a lot of ways.

Yep. The guy is a crazed religious maniac. Got sacked as a judge twice, once for insisting the Ten Commandments be displayed in his court.

The regional differences in Seppoland are even more extreme than those in
oz. My times in the USA found I was comfortable in NYC, the NE and Chicago as well as Seattle, LA and New Orleans but not the rest of Louisiana or Texas. The west coast and north east coast should go independent.

It says something about a candidate when they are considered too extreme for even Trump to endorse.

Drain the swamp??

"US President Donald Trump's Health Secretary has resigned after his costly travel triggered investigations that overshadowed the administration's agenda and angered his boss.

Key points:

Mr Price was the first Trump Cabinet member to quit and served just eight months
The former congressman from Atlanta's travel bill could be several hundred thousand dollars
One charter flight was just 217 kilometres. Commercial flights were often available

Tom Price's regrets and partial repayment could not save his job.

The Health and Human Services Secretary became the first member of the President's Cabinet to be pushed out in a turbulent young administration that has seen several high-ranking White House aides ousted.

A former GOP congressman from the Atlanta suburbs, Mr Price served just eight months.

Publicly, Mr Trump had said he was "not happy" with Mr Price for repeatedly using private charter aircraft for official trips on the taxpayer's dime, when cheaper commercial flights would have done in many cases."

Trump himself incurs huge costs. The security guys have run out of overtime and Congress will have to pass a Bill to expand their budget.

A good summary of The Donald as Prez

The article is about the feud between Trump and GOP Senator Bob Corker, but I like this...

"In an interview with The New York Times, Corker said that all of these claims were flat-out lies, that the man with the nuclear codes is a dangerous idiot whose impulsiveness could set the U.S. “on the path to World War III,” and that Corker “know[s] for a fact that every single day at the White House, it‘s a situation of trying to contain him,” with the West Wing more or less having been transformed into “an adult day-care center.” "

--------------------------------------------------

How embarrassing is it to watch the daily bullying that Trump does via Twitter? He really is just a big blustery mean schoolboy charlatan whose only apparent skill is outright abuse via 140 characters.

The juvenile behaviour and constant outright lying is such an embarrassment to the position he holds.

I don't know too much about US Presidents before F.D.Roosevelt, but it's hard to imagine a bigger fool holding the top job than The Donald. What a fraud.

Nixon was a crook, but Trump is just a childish dolt. Even Jimmy Carter was a harmless jelly bean who got some important things done.

Actually why are these two who've listed impeachable crimes (which admittedly is a bit misleading as impeachable is what the house says it is) not sticking around to do a number on him.
