.... and will you pass it on to that poor Tyrrell Hatton? You really wrecked his tournament.

Wonderful though. Were making a great deal of Seve's sixtieth as well.

Spot on. Seve's early death really knocked Sergio around. Seve would have been overjoyed at this win.

Wonderful final round. Rose was terrific. That damned course looks more beautiful each year. Have never managed to get there.

How awesome is the 13th hole?

Re: The Masters
Sergio's scrambling par at the 13th probably won it for him. If he'd bogeyed and Rose not missed the flat 4 footer, Garcia would've been 4 behind.

What I like the most is that of the current major champions, 3 of them were definitely among the best who'd not won a major prior. Even Jimmy Walker wasn't too far off that conversation.

Was it only 12 months ago when it was predicted that McIlroy, Day and Speith would dominate the majors for years to come?

Till the US open, where the big 3 became the big 4, then after the Open it became the big 5. Right now it stands somewhere around the big 32.

Re: The Masters
And how good is Thomas Pieters in terms of not being overawed by the surroundings . Was just in the second half of 2015 that his parents drove across from Belgium to see him win the Czech masters for his first ET win. And already turned up trumps at the Ryder cup and Masters.
Pieters, Colsaerts and Detry also coming through. For a country that barely produced any European tour players, they're on a streak now.

Jayzus, a 13!!!!
He did well to card 81 after that, but that farks Sergio's defence.

Woods (allegedly in red hot form) already 7 behind Spieth (-6), who could run away with this one.
Leishman the best placed Aussie at -2. Jason Day and Adam Scott seemingly gawn already on +3 each.

Re: The Masters
Hope you're right Mr K. I am not a fan of Spieth. I'll barrack fir anyone else who is not him or Bubba Watson or a member of the Goddy Squad.
Must say I am really looking forward to the next three nights and early mornings. Even tho the clubbies who run Augusta are among the more privileged red necks in the USA, I simply love the course. I look forward to both it and the outer Pomgolian Open every year.
I have been lucky to have played at Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath and Victoria GCs, but I would love to walk around Augusta and St Andrews. All going well I hope to have a stroll around both in two years. They top my Bucket List even ahead of teasing the gin swilling members at Lords.

I've played the Old Course. Augusta isn't even on my bucket list because of the impossibility of it.

Aye Mr k..... I'd be happy with just a stroll around Augusta, smelling the flowers, admiring the azaleas and being blown out by the shot making.

I have no interest in walking around without being able to play it. It would be like watching a cooking show.
