Confident Aus will get over the Snoozers, just depends how much the pay dispute plays on the mind of Aus.

Not impressed with our bowling at all, distinct lack of world class performers which is gonna be a worry when Broad & Jimmy retire in tests too.

Plunkett - even on a comparatively off day - was the main reason they didn't get those 330-340!

Jeez Louise!!! I've been to England twice in the past two years, 3 weeks each time, and hardly saw a drop of rain (it was late summer each time). The cricket arrives, and the heavy dew sets in, FFS.

sheep well on top...Cummins has gone for over 10 per over...still can't get over the selection of Reeks FFS...is this sabotage industrial action from the players or punishment from CA?

Null problema.

Even if NZ pull off a surprise, Banglas are beatable, and England's bowling can go for 400+ at any stage.

Am I the only one pining for 250 vs 240 as a good game of cricket or is that wishful thinking in this ADHD era? The decks for this tournament are ICC prepared and so are going to be roads...

BJ (OB) and Senhor Funchal are going pretty well so far. Put the brakes on.

Hastings the pick of the quicks!

EDIT: But Cummins has conceded only 4 off 2 on return ...

Ah, you're a 1970s dinosaur, JK!

Wink

I agree. They've tried to make it a bit too much like an extended T20, not enough a fluctuating competition in its own right, with its own character.

Won't disagree with either, but it's not only the ICC. Odis in England are the most unbalanced affairs these days, regardless of whether it's a tournament or a bilateral series.

Bit of a turnaround. Hastings has had a bit of tonking, the others have come back stronger. And runs dried up.

And the Toad is gone. (What's Broom doing in a ODI squad, at all? Trundles along placidly, runs out the star, his skipper, and then quickly gets himself out too.)

Re: Champions Trophy 2017

Haze takes 3 in 4 to end up with 6 for.

The worry is that bowling looked a lot easier in the last 7 overs, just as the Aussies now have to come out to bat. And with Reeks at 4, our batting looks light on.

Shorter.

(Albeit off 4 fewer overs.

But more of a collapso.)
