West Indies v Pakistan, 2nd Test, Bridgetown on 30 Apr - 4 May, 2017

Post by skully on Wed 26 Apr 2017, 08:37

Can the woeful IPL-playerless Windies do better in the 2nd Test?

One would have to seriously doubt it. No

Ah, but that was a Pakistani victory.

This one will be different.

You read it here first.

After 1 over, the Ganjas are going well at 0 wickets for 1 run.

The West Indies must have been happy with their performance in the 1st Test as they have kept the same XI. Meanwhile Pakistan have brought in an 18yo leggie with 4 first class games to his credit. Did well in the T20s.

I'm supposed to be watching this on Foxy's 503 channel but it looks awfully like motorbikes to me. I could be mistaken.

Pretty decent fourth wicket stand, and yasir shah had a odgy back at the end of the last session.

Meh Powell falls to Aamer. Not a very good shot to a straight, full ball.

For the third time in three innings, Kieran Powell gets a start but fails to reach fifty. A good review by Pakistan.

Left arm around the wicket. Barsman on his toes, and ball hitting the pad in line with the leg stump. Of course, what else to do but waste a review.

Super innings by Chase thus far, and getting his hundred in the previous over too.

No hexes please but this could be good for the Windies with 'Chase and Holder' combining more successfully than most seduction techniques; WI still have Sneezy Jo Angel still to come.

Looks a great recovery by Chase and Holder from 6-154 to the Stumps score. Holder really does wear the WI badge on his chest with pride.

If only he didn't collapse the front knee when bowling, could've had a fair bit of pace too.

A decent bowling coach should be able to sort that out for him. Very willing player.
