SoO 2017

Post by skully on Tue 30 May 2017, 09:04

It's that time of year again when Banjos get rabid and Dubbers sigh and think "here we go again".

On paper, the Blues look a chance but "Queenslander" spirit is hard to beat.

Game one is tomorrow night at Suncorp.

Good man, h.

Make sure your bag is full. We need the full "weight" of supporters behind the Blues if they are to be a chance.

Got 2.40s on the Blues for the series after JT first got injured.

Head says Blues mind you. The Maroons are looking particularly old and shallow without JT, GI and Scott.

is Thugday still playing for the toads?

More importantly, are Roy and HG doing commentary on jjj or elsewhere?

The 2 X-factor players are the Hayne-Brayne-Drayne-Playne and Anthony Milford. Either could be a match winner or match loser.

If Pierce and Maloney click behind the big Blues pack, the Blues will win.

Oh yeah, baby!!! Blues smash the Toads 28-4. Best ever win at Lang Park!!

Fifita had a massive game and set up the win. MoM for mine. Tedesco had a blinder of a 2nd half, particularly in defence.

When you are dominant over a long period, as Qld have been, a loss hurts so much more!!! Cool

Re: SoO 2017

How good was Jimmy Maloney's right foot step to leave Darius Boyd clutching at air in the Blues 1st try?? Fifita's brilliant run and pass set it up but Maloney still had a bit to do to get the ball over the line.

In the clash of the fullbacks, it was Tedesco first (he got the match ball from the players - mainly for his outstanding defence), daylight second.

I'm tipping Justin O'Neill to be flicked for game 2 (he had a shocker), Darius to be moved to wing or centre and Billy Slater to be recalled. And they'll needle up JT to get him on the park, and fark him for the season.

There was a bee's dick in it. But Fifita's monster first half farked the Banjos royally to set up the win. The Maroons were shattered at half time.
