Sri Lanka v India, 2nd Test, Colombo (SSC), 3-7 August, 2017
After the comprehensive flogging in T1, what can the Lankans do to come back?
What were the reasons for the "absent injured"s in the Lankan 2nd innings? Will they affect the make-up of the Lankan XI for this Test?

Gunaratne fractured his thumb on Day 1 and is out for the series. Herath had a finger injury.

Ashwin 3rd quickest to 200/2000 double although he is closer to 300 wickets now. Nevertheless, he should make way for Kuldeep Yadav in non subcontinental tests.

They could bat three times and still lose.

I've been watching the Lankan batsmen batting superbly for the last hour or so and putting a centre stand and wondered WTF has been going on in the rest of the match.

Good that Sri Lanka were as shit as they were in the first innings. And i must say, India's fast bowling looks much better with Shami and Yadav than with one of them out.
Tharanga is legitimately awful.

Are SL now closer to WI, Ban and Zim than they are to the top six?

Undoubtedly.
Think they should also be picking Sandakan as often as possible. He looked very decent last year.
