Nath reported that the squad was selected for the 1st 2 Tests.

Fink and Wank should consider themselves lucky.

The sad thing is that Puddle is the next in line batsman. Oh dear.

You would hope Finch gets dropped down the order at least.

Not much of a turnaround time. Only 3 days. Means that Shaw won't have enough time to recover. Sad.

Hats off the Elmer - 8 wickets and 66 runs without getting out in the match.

It's Perth. Not sure about the new pitch but Starc would seem safe. They might even go horses for courses and dump someone for Mitch.

Finch should probably go which would at least ensure they can't pick fwitjr, though they could bump fwitsr to opener to make way for bro.

Just trying to make sure everyone else has a restless couple of days.

Stoinis wrote a fair application letter today, but has an injury. Suspect Mere wanted to declare after his own dismissal, cede the win and stop the Stoinis application letter.

They have no choice. Same squad, so it's either Fink or Wank for Puddle.

Personally I'd open with Ed and Ooze, move Bog to 3 and Fink to 4. Anything to avoid including Puddle.

Stoinis has a sore foot. Marsh jumped on it. Had to stop bowling in Vic 2nd innings.

Uber to open. Fink to bat at 4.

Langer is a brain surgeon, apparently*. He's ruled out pushing Fink down the order and gave this insight...

"He is one of the best white ball players in the world, and while the red ball is a whole lot different, if he gets going, he could be anything."

Cheer up mate. It could be worse, you could have had Vaughny as a commentator. Oh wait..........

Hehehe. Oh I dunno, Bas. Vorn goes OK in the commbox for Foxy.

His quirky sense of humour compliments Warnie's Captain Obvious palaver, Gilly's commonsense and MEW's laid back insights.
