It is good former players are coming out and getting stuck into the parlous state of Oz cricket. Surely Howard must go.
Yep. Hard to disagree with anything Geeves and Robbo are saying.
This is also what happens when you let Whackos like Greg Chappell loose.
True

Heard a bit of Rodney Hogg on the radio the other day. Hoggy argued that we should not have a number 6 averaging under 40 in Shield cricket. He made a strong case for Donkey in as much as his 1st class average far exceeds those of No Show, Head, Madman, Reeks FFS, Stained, Steak Knives, Bog, KP2, Madman, Dhews etc.
Re the keeper, he mounted a strong defence of Weed's retention - better test average than Snivel. Made the point that Carey averages less in first class cricket than Weed or Snivel despite playing half his matches at the best batting track in the world.
When off the red Hoggy makes a lot of sense.

Hard to argue with Hoggy's points.

Cartwright. Called "Hoss" by all but horrie.
But given I appreciate the effectiveness of the nick (Hoss is a bit of a donkey), I'll give that one to h.

Qld 5/79 at stumps so i guess Tas are just on top. I'm predicting the wicket will flatten out tomorrow & the last five will take a bit more effort to take.

Totally believable. Just another example of CA farking domestic cricket.

FFS, it's barely rained in Sydney for 6 months and now a key Ashes lead up fixture looks like being rained out.

Tas take a narrow 1st innings lead & are 3/104 in their second dig. Pair for Doran. Dools 56 n.o.

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2017-18
Crikey, nearly 3 innings completed after 2 days in Tassie. Wrench failed again, as did Weed. 5 ducks in the Tassie 2nd innings. Shit on a stick.
At Hurstville, Tweek at least got some runs. Nifty didn't, and LOL @ Reeks. Purple grabbed 3 quick Wozzie wickets, with Bog and Hoss failing.
At the MCG Little Boof got a 100 to maybe get a look in at the Aus no.6 spot.

The Bird brothers are stretching the lead a bit for the Tozzies.

It'll be all over tomorrow. Might drop in to witness the last rites.

Meanwhile, Dolly takes 3 wickets in the last over of the day to drag the barrels back into it.

Bird should get the all-rounder's spot. Do you hear me, Rod Marsh?
