Another 159 needed. Might be a tight finish. Maybe the deck has flattened out.

Dan Hughes (unfortunately re-christened Phil by the SEN duty live-from-the-scene man) treads on his stumps to Siddle, but that the only wicket so far this morning, Holy Moises joins Sir Les, stand already 20

Spivs 5-for and still need 90. Farkin Reeks ran Patterson out by calling him to take on NoShow.

It's now up to Reeks and Nifty.

Unlikely.

That is dreadful..

Spivs 5fer at lunch, needing around 90.

Test cricket is grouse, but the Shield is also damned useful.

Bad day for SEN.

Test cricket is certainly grouse, but Shield cricket is also damned useful.

Reeks is such a Twatto lbw merchant. Goes lbw to Siddle. He bats with his eyes closed like Warner.

Spivs are 35 away and relying on Nifty and Can't.

A classic vix v dubbers game with the result going the right way.

Played hard, tough and fair. Spirit of the game exemplified by MM2 holding Puck up and the Fink consoling the devastated MM.

I think that's the Dubbers done for 2017-2018. They'd need to win their last game by squillions and have almost all the other matches go their way to finish even second now. Yay.

Tasmania needs to win its last two games well to have a chance of squeezing in ahead of either Victoria or Queensland. They've started well v the Sozzies but they really need to nail that game and the last.

BTW what an amazing debut season for Thomas Rogers ... ex ACT and plying his trade for Tassie. That's a lot of wickets first up and at a very impressive economy rate.

Beyond the jokes about the Tozzies panza division of keepers, the fact is they have a number of promising players as well as Rogers. Webster and Doran are clear examples. Moving on from Dan ain't the Man has helped the Tozzies be competitive.

A bit of rain in Brisbane hasn't helped Queensland.
