As far as we know.....can we definitely confirm that Vikas is still alive? (Or for that matter, that Vikas wasn't Stephen Hawking)?

I thought of Vikas last night.

Was watching Eddie's Millionaire show and there was a contestant who was a chap of Indian persuasion who fancied himself as a stand-up comedian who wanted to appear at the Melbourne Comedy Festival!! Cool

Yes, on your recommendation add Cooper to Faraday, Darwin, both Curies, Newton, Rutherford, others to taste....but so far none of them have been played by Yahoo Serious (neither has Hawking) so old Albert still has the gong as far as I'm concerned.

There are too many greats to list them all. I agree with all your lot (bar Cooper of course) but would thrown in Bohr, Koch, van Leeuwenhoek, Jenner and Snow (and no, I don't mean the cricketing foes). Of those, Madame Curie is the most serious challenger to Einstein's 'crown', IMHO.

No, John's bowling wasn't particularly scientific that afternoon.....Terry's attempt to play it even less so

RIP John Fisher of Sunghungkay Scallywag in the ocean race. Fell overboard in the middle of the southern ocean, no competing boats were within 200 nautical miles of scallywag in game force winds.

Second overboard incident after Alex Gough went overboard on the leg to Hong Kong... Gough was saved in 7 minutes. To think they'd had such a good run in the doldrums with Libby Greenhalg being drafted in as navigator.

Horrible news
