AFL 2018

Post by Red on Mon Jan 22, 2018 4:43 pm

My apologies if a thread for this has already been started.

Kurt Tippett has retired. It's probably fair to say that he didn't work out as well for the Swans as they would have liked.

Meanwhile Sylvia late of two clubs, escapes a jail term over various offences.

Jordan de Drunk has been found to have been driving at almost twice the legal alcohol limit. Think he will be missing the start of the season again. Deja vu!

Rofl. There is an entertaining discussion on the Sth Big Footy board. There are three fundamentalists knocking themselves out. Religioids are a menace.

The scum always seem to have a minimum of 6 dic- kheads on board. No surprise given the Prez and coach.

Not sure I've seen that version before...... Cruel but funny.

The closure of Vic Park and Windy Hill have been boons to fans from other clubs. People get stuck into the Tiger fans, but I don't recall being in fear at their games, even at Punt Rd Oval.

Pie and Druggie fans are over the top. Have watched otherwise sensible and erudite Don and Pie mates go over the top into crazed boganista behaviour.

Phurt. We will start 0 from 6 again and limp into the finals. We only play a couple of games at the G during the year. Near impossible for an interstate team to win the GF, if playing a Vic club. Istate teams get gunned.

Two pretty good games to start the season. I might have to invest in some split screen technology. Flipping between seven and nein is a pain in the a.
