Really? Thought glass houses and all would have persuaded him not to comment
Meanwhile North Melbourne fans have gone berko about a young player who has nominated the Bloods as his preferred Club over being selected as a father/son by North. Good times.

Would that be young Blakey?
Ironic eh Alanis - Nick B won't play for a year and already he's a cause of so much SBM mouth-frothing, all after his old man 'Whispering Jack' scarcely scores a headline in a 300 plus game career at two clubs

Bomber wouldn't be short of a quid, would he? Why would he get into drug trafficking, FFS??
Or has he pissed (or gambled) all his earnings up the wall like a lot of his former charges?

It was reported last night that the Swans specifically renewed his contract long-term so that they curried favour with the Blakeys for this purpose. What irks Norf is that originally this rule was for sons of players, not officials.

Re: AFL 2018
He can go to Norf or the Lions as F/S ...or he can go to Sydney as a NSW academy player ... same as Heeney and Mills wereÂ
Sydney will have to use points/draft picks to get him if another club nominates him before they do in the draft

Re: AFL 2018
The whole Academy points system does somewhat mess with the integrity of the draft though. Originally it was put in place so the poorest performing clubs get first dibs.
The father/son was included as a link to nostalgia, though where a club selects has changed from its inception.
The Academies mess with this philosophy as a team playing in a GF can end up with a guy who could have gone in the first few picks. It's as if the AFL wants a foot in two camps.

Still the score review not as bad as the effup in the A-League.
We just scratched over the line tonight, but most years, Anzac Day kills us with the punishing schedule it enforces. Wish we weren't one of the participants.

Went to the game. Nice to see the good guys win. A kid in his third game kicked 7 snags... fantastic.

Twas truly entertaining. The refs helped with that and hard to believe it was the kids first game at the ground.

That is just madness. Nice to see McGuire copping some of his own medicine.
Swans only have Buddy, Sinkers and the skipper from other Clubs. The Pies have umpteen.
