Massive game again, but not enough to win for the Hawks over the Tigers.

Only one side remains undefeated after 3 rounds in what has been a very unpredictable start to the season.

Been some decent games. While I am biased the Bllods v Giants game was useful.

Watching Buddy play is always fun.Last night he played partly as a frightening midfielder.

Don bites Dog: Essendon's Dracula, Connor McKenna, is cactus....he was on top of the Bulldogs bloke, who did not even have hold of him at the time, so he has stuff's hope of getting 'self defence' past the beak.

Connor's a gonner.

When you're an Essendon player and Robbo throws you under the bus, that's not often a good sign either.

Robbo appears to be either after Bomber blood or hoping to motivate his Don charges given his tirade against them this week.

Hahaha... Slobbo has gone from cheerleading the Chemist's reappointment to slating him.

Propped up by his pillows of empty Dominos boxes and beneath a patchwork quilt made of kebab and chiko roll wrappers. Slobbo pumps out Johnny Walkley award winning articles after articles. Every now and then aided by smoking Winnie Blues in stereo, the Slobbo has a thought. Occasionally the thought is translated into a sentence.

Currently there is a phone hook-up between the AFL and all clubs re. the plan from the state govt. in connection to future funding for venues. It seems that Carlton and Footscray will become the centres for AFLW etc.

There will be some non-sporting sectors not happy about this cash splash.

Shouldn't it be footy stadia?

Re the GF @ the G decision, this would be reasonable if the better interstate teams play a minimum of 6 games at the G each season. This year the Bloods play just two games at the G. Increasing the opportunities for the Crows, Giants, Bloods and Weasels to play at the G can be achieved by reducing access of poorly performing Melbourne based teams like Carlton, Collingwood and North and insisting they play more games at Eddyhead.

Damian Barrett nails it

Ifyou didn't know the next Victorian state election was due by November ...
thenyou do now. Simply extraordinary what the AFL officially pulled off late this week with the Andrews government signing off on hundreds of millions of dollars of projects.

No, we shouldn't be forced to play at Eddyhead, EssedON, got on that bandwagon while we placed our faith in the 'G. And we have all seen from Good Friday, how important it is to have big teams playing there.

Great win for the Pies against the Crows tonight. We do travel well!

What a mighty effort by the Lions. 17 points for the whole game. I'm calling the wooden spoon already.

And there is a big prize on offer with some critics touting the likely number pick as potentially the best ever draftee.
