Carlton haven't played yet.

Carlton are tanking too. Buckley is such a woeful coach they are already out of the race for number1.
The Filth look like GWS lite, full of discards master recruiter Silvagni has recruited. Of course they pale against his son.
Then of course the Pondies have loaded up on father-sons. None are worth a cracker. Buckley passed on the one half decent f-s in Stewart who is with the Druggies.

The loss by the Swans last night ranks (and really ranks) as the worst loss since R6 last year against the Filth.

Think the Browns may be okay while the second Daicos (Nicholas), has always been said to be better. As a 14 year old last year he was kicking fifteen goals against older opposition.
Think that Jack Silvagni looks to be one of the worst Cat Stevens picks of all time.

Cloke 3 may be the only decent fs the Pondies have found. The Pondies are still a chance of bottom four..hope they go for yet another son of a nob.
If so justice will have been served.
Since criminals like Pratt, Bond and Wren has there been a,a more malevolent influence than McCrime.
Terrific his hubris has proved so crucial.

Good win for us against the dopers. Again it takes some decently supported clubs to bring a crowd on a big occasion.

Any performance review by Essendon which does not have as dot-point #1, 'Brendan Goddard must stop behaving like a bitter old queen', will not be worth the pre-meeting coffee.

The problem he has is that he is guilty of the things he harangues his teammates with regard to.

John W clarifies the Goddard input by explaining that BJ & Joe D were 'sharing a learning opportunity'. Gee thanks Woosh....
Also just noticed the real Essendon captain was well within earshot for the whole conversation, but seemed to contribute Taylor Adams's grandma....maybe he's happy (for any number of reasons) to watch Goddard self-immolate before his eyes.

Nice to see the Drugons in strife.
The Filth again got embarrassed on Friday night footy making the dogs look able.

Meanwhile the Swans will field the smallest AFL team of the modern era at the Cattery and cop a flogging.

We're all over the shop. Come to that, most teams are all over the shop this year. Only Richmond have been (mostly) consistent.

Most obviously ...
The Cats beat Port (in Adelaide)
Port beat North (at Ethad)
North beat the Hawks
Hawks beat Collingwood
Collingwood smashed Adelaide
Adelaide beat the Swans (at the SCG)
Swans beat the Cats (at the Cattery)
It's been a difficult tipping year!

Re: AFL 2018
Bloods have a good record at the Cattery of late , but with the Outs a brilliant display of the Bloods spirit in the final quarter.
JPK leading from the front, Sinclair continuing his form in the Ruck and Roake impressive on debut.

Bomber Thompson bailed after drug trafficing charges.
The Drug-on saga continues. Maybe Chick will post about that too, given his experience in the matter.
