any major differences if it's dismissals per Test rather than innings per Test? I see Javed Omar outlasted his team-mates twice in his 80 efforts, so he just failed to 'achieve' a dismissal rate of 2 per Test over 40 Tests ...

Happy for Wally to correct me, but the "best" I can find for ratio of 2.00 with zero not outs is Shan Masood who has played 12 Tests for Pakistan and batted 24 times for zero not outs.

Actually I took educated punts on the lankans and h and h, until I realized it could easily confirmed. So yeah refreshing.

Another quickie:

Only one keeper has scored three centuries in successive Test innings. (Adam Gilchrist, in the season 2004-05, the first against Pakistan, then two in UnZud).

But who is the only Test keeper to have scored more than 5 half-centuries in successive innings?

Depending on how you mean, perhaps more mutual (and matching) than that.

Dismissed each other nine times in Tests - it still seems the record.

(Though of course other keepers have dismissed greater aggregate totals of wicketkeepers in a Test career.)

Andy Flower made 7 in a row in 2000-01. Only for a 23 v Bangers he would have had 10 in a row (65, 183*, 70, 55, 232*, 79, 73, 23, 51, 83)
