Cameron Smith retires from all rep football effective immediately.

My bet a few weeks ago on NSW to win the SOO is looking hella grouse.

Wow taking then at the line. Gutsy. Qld are traditionally crap first up. I would have spent the money on 12 plus in the first game.

To answer my own question, the rags indicate it was a family decision plus he found last year's series the most physically and mentally demanding ever.

Still, it seems a remarkably ill-timed decision.

Congrats on a stellar rep career.

Meanwhile, the Drags, who traditionally struggle in Canberra, will retain top spot on PD from Penrith and the Warriors if they can't overcome the Raiders. And retain it outright if they do manage a rare win in the Nation's Capital.

Burley Griffen was pretty ace it must be admitted from an architectural viewpoint but engineering?

Shirley you cannot mean engineering spin? That would be a disgrace to your profession (which goes back to the Minoans).

Otherwise I cannot see one redeeming feature in that benighted joint - unless you count the MM's be-knighting of Phil the Greek.

The way the place is designed and set up, so from an engineering/architectural perspective.

As an Engineer, the design of the place appeals to me.
