Qld 8/163 after 39 overs. Tassie well on top but the wicket is playing up. Anything around 200 might be a good score.

Comprehensive win for the Vic. Should be a better contest in the Final.

This ridiculous format needs to be changed. If Qld had beaten Tassie & then won the final you would have the situation where Qld would win both the wooden spoon & the trophy. Current system make the round robin games pointless.

JLT Sheffield Shield
Queensland v Tasmania, the Gabba
Tuesday Friday, 10am start daily.

James Peirson (c), Max Bryant, Joe Burns, Luke Feldman, Peter George, Sam Heazlett, Charlie Hemphrey, Nathan McSweeney, Mark Steketee, Mitch Swepson, Sam Truloff, Jack Wildermuth

Every time that I have seen Max Bryant bat, he constantly hits the ball in the air. I'm just hoping it was because they were limited overs games & he shows a more conservative approach in Sheffield Shield matches.

It probably won't matter though. Plenty of rain predicted over the next week. This match could be a washout.

Sids, Fink and Dutch are in big trouble. Consorting with the cbnlg and the Marsh=Fails is frowned on. Pointless playing Puck until Oz appoints a coach.
