Are you talking about a Marsh getting past 25?

A combined score of 25 would be an improvement.

OMG  That is the most bizarre dismissal I have ever seen in a test match.

Brain fades have led to two crazy run outs in this game.

52.3
W
Siddle to Azhar Ali, OUT, Run out! Extraordinary! He edged past gully on the drive, and it ran to the rope and the Pakistan batsmen thought it had gone for four. It stopped just short of the rope. Starc chased it down and threw it back and Azhar and Asad were mid pitch just having a chat. Paine whipped the bails off and Azhar has to go! They clearly thought it had gone for four and stopped running! They didn't run at all. Azhar thought it was four off the bat

Azhar Ali run out (Starc/Labuschagne/†Paine) 64 (141b 4x4 0x6) SR: 45.39

So despite having lost 4 top order wickets for 6 balls in the first innings, Pak are going to win this match by about 300 runs.

How shit are we?

I don't suppose Ooze has 250 in him to allow us to bat for 2 days to save this one?

he has a knee injury also, so presumably he won't be batting in his normal position and will be restricted with running between the wickets?

Just saw Matthew Wade, son of former Hawk Scott and cousin of current Pie Jeremy Howe and by all reports once a fair footballer himself, deliver a perfect accidental shirtfront in mid-pitch to batting partner Paul? Doran as they were trying for a third for Tassie today, causing Doran to be run out. That's THREE Benny Hill run-outs in a day and a half....

Certain Langer wants to play Agar. I think the Yarp's bowling has been quite good.

Meanwhile after 30 Tests, Mere averages in the mid 20's. Unless the rest of his career is limited to Perth and G roads, it is difficult to see the basis of improvement.
