So one of the Independents in Warringah has pulled out in order to give Steggall a better chance.

Sounds like the locals have really got their shit together. The Chook campaign is getting a heap of cash. Expect the MM will run a dirty tricks campaign. Even the stupid dolt will be worried now.

I see local moderate folk in Kelly's electorate are looking to run a campaign against that gross tub of rubbish.

It is really interesting middle of the road folk around the country are banding together to run Independent conservatives against members of the fascist element in the Libs.

Whether this has the result of consolidating power to the Fascists but narrowing their electoral appeal, time will tell.

I expect there is little public support for their extreme far right views.

Meanwhile the Nats are in a bit of strife from farming communities, especially in NSW who are jack of the cotton and rice industries.

Not a good look for East Praetorian Libs. Minister Laughing Clown's performance in court over the AWU set-up had her typical $3 note conviction.

Meanwhile Herr Corrman is in a travel rorts issue as is his mate Jo Hockey.

The sooner there is a Federal ICAC to investigate these trough snifflers (and those corrupt mongrels in the radishes and other parties) the better.

A Federal ICAC could begin with an investigation of the financial relationships between Alexander Downer and Woodside Petroleum.

Could happen regardless of the result of the next election. Though closing the legit rorts through regulation would be easier.

even tho I am cranky about the corrupt actions of Herr Corrman, Hockey and Laughing Clown, this week I am really filthy about the C$0.7B being spent on the Canberra War Memorial to commemorate Afghanistan and Iraq - where the lie of weapons of mass destruction is to be perpetuated.

Spending money commemorating wars we should never have been in is a national pastime. They're honouring the dead which is fine but yeah 700 mil is a bit steep.

I'm pretty sure most people now realize, if they didn't then, that the war in Iraq was the biggest load of bull ever fed to electorates the world over.

JBish might be an arsehole from ElPasole, but she is one of the few Brownies with electoral appeal.

So who are the leading lightsin the Brownies?

ScuMo clearly will hold appeal to every happy clapper

Dutton has the support of fields of spuds and some Billies

Abbott has the support of George Pell and his mates, though some being incarcerated don't get to vote

In 2016 Truffles got the Brownies over the line.

The best hope for Skully, Big Dog is the spook Shortpants.

Watching "Sky after dark" is still the best way to wind down at the end of the day. The fatuous five still don't get/can't understand the fact no-one is listening to them apart from the fascists who then get turned upon when the message doesn't get through.

Boats and Adani aren't cutting it, so now let's see how the neg gearing and franking go. And the ALP hasn't started to hit them on banking and the protection racket that's the top end of town.

Looks like Pyne is going to announce that he will leave Parliament at the next election.

Talk that Ciobo will do the same.

Abbott might be the only one left in the Party come June.

You'd think Howard would have learned his lesson when it came to priests. But I spose when he got away with the outrageous, if not corrupt, behaviour in regards to National Textiles he must have believed that everyone would swallow the honest john bullshit.

Not much for PM ScuMo to hunker down and testify about. Oz has now officially entered a recession. Being barely able to count his 'happy claps", ScuMo has not noticed the economy is going down the gurgler.

Huh? Was going off three media reports Skully. The sources were the Guardian, ABC and (shuffles feet nervously) Fox Money.

So there is debate about this issue?

Personally I expect more housing borrowers will be entering negative equity and will be vulnerable if the labour market dips.

The seppo terms of trade are worsening. Who knows what the wacky Trump so do. Personally I think Oz needs to nail its economic flag to the Chinese and Banindiann masts.

Coal will continue to be vexing, both in local power generation and exports.

Australia hasn't had 2 successive quarters of negative growth - the definition of a recession. Also at least one other of the 5 economic indicators (GDP, employment, retail sales, manufacturing, income) is not falling - employment.

Some economic wags have dreamed up some new marker called "per capita recession" (whatever the fark that is), which is what I guess you are pinning your Pinko hopes on.

Please continue reading Pinko ABC and loony Fox Money for your valuable economic news. That way you'll continue living in your commie fantasy land.
