Jaidyn Stephenson gets 12 weeks for betting on AFL games, back just in time for Finals. FFS.

And Ben Stratton gets just a 2 week lettuce leaf slap for stomping and pinching.

Both. Far too light on both occasions.

No damage done on the Stratton stomp ...and injury/medical reports are a big part of penalty considerations
The pinching was annoying but as 2 umpires have laughed at him doing it it would be hard to give him more time

Crowley got a fine in the last case of pinching before the tribunal (and he didnt do it)


Stephenson's penalty is about right ....whether they should have pushed the end date into next season is debatable.
He did self report . so maybe some leniency was available.
It was a fairly strong penalty

Stevo's act was moronic and he deserved a harsh penalty but the AFL's hypocrisy regarding gambling is blatant.

The AFL is weak as piss on properly policing abhorrent behaviour from clubs and players.
