SoO 2019
The desperate Banjos talking about getting Smith out of retirement due to current injury problems.
Kevie Walters says it won't be happening.
Can't see Smith being interestrd. He's already given up goal kicking to ready Munster for next year's NRL.

Re: SoO 2019
With DCE injured they will now have to play Hunt at Halfback.

DCE is the Buckley of the NRL. Doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself. Too hot and cold. I'd go with Hunt anyway.

Can't argue re: DCE. Hunt is carrying a few niggles as well, no?

He's a bit hot and cold too but he's not a qunt. Wouldn't be surprised if Walter's pulls a few rabbits out of the hat.

The Toads could put reserve graders in and they'd grow a leg once the Maroon jersey is on.

Re: SoO 2019
True. But Intrust comp is all Brisbane teams leading atm and everyone knows you need the north.
I'd be leading towards a spine of Ponga, Munster, Morgan and Hunt, though Hunt may be of more use off the bench if a hooker standout.

Re: SoO 2019
The might play McCullough early for defence and bring Hunt on after HT.

Why spoil the record. Though 1-1 going into game three with some injuries might see him getting antsy.

Nah, he's winding down to retirememt. Another NRL premiership is his final goal. Getting smashed in SoO wouldn't help that cause.

Yep - he wants to hit the 400 NRL games and 500 total games in a couple of months. SOO will slow that up.

Wouldn't the SoO games add to the total and only slow up the NRL stat?

Yes but higher risk of injury in SOO.
Also,the 500 will come before the 400.
