Anyone seen any good movies recently?

You only hired it? One of the Zatellites, who will be expelled from the Imperial Palace if he ever does something similar, actually purchased the bloody thing for tLEoPZ for Christmas.

Sure it's great that the kids have jobs, and even better that they decided to buy some of the Christmas gifts themselves, with their own money, but F...F...S...

seen some very good movies in the last month or so. decided to stop watching crap in cinemas and just enjoy good movies at home

got a list of around 40 movies i plan to see over the next few months - eight and a half, grave of the fireflies, matrubhoomi, bicycle thief, diving bell and the butterfly, tokyo story, blackboards, maria full of grace, paris, texas, etc

Also been watching some Shammi Kapoor classics form India's Golden era. Dil Deke Dekho, Tumsa Nahin Dekha and Chinatown just rock.

Also am amazed at how ahead of it's time, bold and modern Dev Anand starrer 'Teen Deviya' was when one thinks of the conservative time this classic was released. Dev succeeds in not just sweeping the 3 main lead ladies off their feet in the film, but the audience as well.

I've unwrapped the dvd of In Brugge and will watch along with erm... Kung Fu Panda and watching Slumdog Millionaire tomorrow.

Really liked the lives of others, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and in bruges.

Matrubhoomi is well made but disturbing watch.

Maria full of grace is good too.

Saw Quantum of Solace for the 2nd time... I'd fallen asleep the 1st time(long story) and people had ragged it... I'm not with them. Thought it was pretty good. Bourne really f*cked over the Bond chain, for the better.

I'm pretty keen on 'The Spirit' coming out. Think Sin City and 300 were quality watches for different cinematography.

Sin City was good. 300 OK.

Pan's Labyrinth (?) is a masterpiece.
