Our esteemed mod is quite touchy about the colloquial term for a cigarette being used on this forum.Bradman wrote:que?

I think someone is suggesting that your use of term "fags" is running close to the wind . . .
Of course, it is obvious that "fags" in your sentence is perfectly acceptable . . .

Re: Forum Statistics
FFS! This a UK based cricket forum and no-one has used that term the way I used it?
I had to fly 12000 miles twice a year for the privilege of being referred to as such. I'm beginning to feel sorry for Prince Harry and his P--ki mate.

Re: Forum Statistics
They do that when you squeeze them hard enough.
My best mate back in primary school days used to have a collection of hamsters or guinee pigs (or sumpent like that) and his down-syndrome little sister used to love giving his prized gerbils a loving squeeze.
After about 4 days the smell would lead him to the squished little beasties under his bed.
By God, I'm sure Zoggy will have a field day with this one.

Guilty as charged but as I'm working (was working) on a job for the PNG EC I plead self defence.
I'm still stuffed why anyone would get upset over that word even if I'd used it in it's most extreme derogatory sense. I've seen worse on this place. People throw the most derogatory word in the English language (very skilfully disguised of course) around like there's no tomorrow.

It's one of Dello's few sacred rules, qmy. It resulted in the only deleted post I've ever incurred.
