After acquiring and handing us a free domain name for a year, they've renewed it for another year as a result of our "high activity".

(although I assume they never read the forum, or they'd disown us in a heart-beat)

People can buy their forums - and in doing so get a great deal more control over various aspects of the design and such, and make their own advertising deals and money grubbing schemes that (I think) are not allowed on the free forums. Haven't checked the T&C in a while, but I think all the free forums have to be non-commercial.

I guess that keeps them afloat.

I got that message about 24 hours ago but 5 minutes later everything was working alright so I just assumed it was a temporary glitch.

I had same problem. Cleared my history & cookie caches & that seemed to fix it.

The problem can be resolved, but it requires Dello's intervention. As the Founder of this forum, only he can extend the use of the Domain name.

I have had no luck in contacting him. Does anyone have an email address at which he can be contacted?
