If he plays Djokovic in the final, will be quite a clash of time-outs. Maybe we’ll get the Ashes Final instead…
we don't want Kyrgios to win.
which is the lesser of 2 evils? if there is no lesser, then maybe we should call it off so there's no winner this year

I have fantasised that both of these contemptible creeps are injured before the game is decided, preferably in the warm-up, and we find out which of them is more prepared to guts it out when things are not in their favour.

so both get injured, we do 3rd vs 4th instead, and the guy who isn't Nadal wins by default?

He gets no ranking points in any case, and may be unseeded for the US Open even if he wins here…

Aussies win the men’s doubles title for the first time since the Woodies (well, kind of… Ebden is a Yarpoz). An omen for tomorrow?

Kyrios on song is fun to watch. Might watch a set.
Have not watched any thus far. Nadall sends me to sleep. I miss Roger.

Djokovic now drops to world number 7 after no ranking points were awarded this year, that’s a Djoke… meanwhile Federer has no ATP singles ranking at all for the first time in 25 years.

Serena Williams announces she’s “evolving away from” tennis. Kind of like a conscious uncoupling from it, I guess…

No Novax in New York. Whether preventing unvaccinated people from travelling really serves any benefit now is debatable, but he deserves what he gets for his stubbornness on the matter.
Looks like Medvedev will be able to compete, and the question of Nadal’s fitness may well determine the destination of the title.
