I reckon Carl has a 14 year old enthusiastic boner for Michonne.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Glenn seeing a Terminus sign at the end. where's the army guy and crew?
I guess the big drawing point for S04E14 is
- Spoiler:
- who's gonna die? I reckon Carol will sacrifice herself to save one of the girls

Is it better than the previous one? The Walking Dead and I are at the crossroads....

That about covers it.
- Spoiler:
- Thing's I've learned about the zombie apocalypse: making noise attracts zombies so it's probably not a brilliant idea to fire up the old piano and start banging out the hits late at night.
Beth's abductors saved her from having her virginity abducted by Daryl. He was juiced with jam and ready to rumble.

- I blame Beth with her "come hither" eyes and siren-like singing.
Is it just me or does anyone else cringe at how bad they (i.e. everyone on the show) would smell if they got their kit off and got busy??? Poor Daryl looks like his clothes would stand up on their own if he took 'em off. And I imagine Beth's knickers would be a bit crusty as well.

Re: The Walking Dead
For sure, oral's off the table.
Shane had the right idea back in season one at the CDC, getting all rapey with Lori only after everyone's had a nice, warm shower and gotten into some clean threads.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Talk about killing time. We're basically getting the same story each episode, but with different characters- Group finds house. Group sets up camp in house. House gets attacked by walkers. Group leaves house. The storyline is going around in circles. This season is a write-off. The LAST episode of the series will be when they come across this terminus place. Up until then it will be all about girls picking up limps, walkers getting stabbed in the head, and crybaby "what's the point of living?" conversations in dim light.
And I thought Rick was the main character in all this? The 'Walter White' of the Walking Dead? We haven't seen him for two episodes. It's hard to really form an attachment and actually care about characters when we only see them fleetingly. The only characters anyone cares about are Rick and Daryl. The others can line up to be walker food as far as I'm concerned.

- Spoiler:
- There was a decent walker fight in this one - when Daryl inexplicably cornered himself in the embalming room and cooly fought the hoard off with a couple of gurneys. That was a lot more imaginative than anything we've seen in weeks.
And I suppose there was some plot development in the sense of finally meeting and putting a name to the guy whose name I've already forgotten and his gang, last seen as ankles only from Rick's point of view under the bed. Clearly, they're up to no good. They're the new bad survivors who are going turn everything to shit soon enough.
And did we already know Beth could play the piano? I'm not sure we did, so there's that game-changer...
Re: The Walking Dead
I'm starting to read the comics. Up to #12 or 13 (I think). Very different feeling, since I'm used to the tv show

Re: The Walking Dead
S04E14.
- Spoiler:
- The Psycho Lizzy episode!!
The season 4 formula continues with the ep plot revolving around one of the separated groups. This week it's Carol's crew. As usual, we get 30 minutes of smaltz, then a WTF ( ) last 10 minutes.
Turns out Lizzy was pretty unhinged, and was the one feeding the rats to the walkers at the prison, and cutting up and gutting rats and rabbits for fun. She wants Carol to understand that walkers are just different. So she stabs Mika to prove she'll come back as an approachable walker. Carol is horrified, and leads Lizzy out to a field and, in a pretty brutal scene, shoots her in the back of the head.
Carol has had enough and confesses to Tyreese that she killed and burned soon-to-be-zombie Karen at the prison, and tells him to do what he has to do. After a long bulging eyes stare Tyreese forgives her.
How come there were 3 graves at the end? Judith was on Tyreese's back, no? Did Carol bury Lizzy's zombie playmate too?

- Spoiler:
- The third grave was already there when they first rocked up to the house. The girls notice it and wonder if a baby died.
Pretty good episode, all in all, given that we're still filler-ing our way to the big meet up at Terminus (let down a bit by some not very stellar acting from the kids). At least Carol's big secret is out in the open - and conspiracy theories that she took the rap to cover for someone else are quietened. Tyreese took it pretty well, although he wasn't half laying it on a bit thick about his long lost love of around two episodes, Karen.
I liked that it all took a properly dark turn. It's about time. We're not in Disneyland, folks.
Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Finally a return to the dark and twisted Walking Dead. The soppy shit in the majority of the last four or five episodes was really getting on my nerves, and I thought it would be more of the same when I started watching this episode.
Still, they kill off BOTH the KIDS, and yet Beth lives on- Singing, dancing, and drinking moonshine. Astounding. I can only assume she's going to be revealed as the 'chosen one' who turns out to be immune.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- And I want there to be some exploration as to WHY this apocalypse has happened. From the start of the show we've pretty much just been asked to accept that this disease/plague is what it is. Perhaps that's where Bill Hicks comes in. (mulleted scientist who claims to have the answers. He's in Glenn's group along with redhead G.I Joe, and Latino Lara Croft)

Re: The Walking Dead
Bill Hicks is full of shit. He'll just be some dude who claimed to be a scientist so the others wouldn't leave him behind - because he brings nothing else practical to the party (see: shooting his own car).
Re: The Walking Dead
S4E15
- Spoiler:
- Yeah, we're still all headed to Terminus. Oh, and now we're there. Some of us anyway.
In preparation for the finale next week, a couple of teams have made it to what looks like the old prison set, slightly tarted up. Populated by one old lady, barbecuing a couple of chunky steaks that may or may not end up tasting a bit Beth-y (just a guess, as it's all obviously about to turn to shit).
Anyway, Maggie and Glenn have found each other. So that's the end of that interminable storyline. And Army Guy's girlfriend had started dressing more appropriately for zombie combat. Well done, her.
Daryl's got a new gang. They're a bunch of children who "bagsy" every item they happen upon.
And that's your lot. See you next week where the rest of the gang will inevitably make it to Terminus and have some kind of crisis or other.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Imagine my shock at learning that the Terminus people weren't to be trusted. Did not see that coming...
I guess they're cannibals, who entice people to their lair, fatten them up, throw them on the barbie. Sure, why not?
So it's up to Carol, Tyreese and Asskicker to save the day - although I wouldn't think there's much saving Beth, who I still say has been on the grill this whole time.
Bit of a shit back end to the series, frankly. Went nowhere. Ended with a meh.
Re: The Walking Dead
Yeah, I thought it left it in an intriguing, can't-wait-to-see kind of way, personally. Predictable or not.
Re: The Walking Dead
Disappointing season. But I guess there's only so much you can do with survivors v walkers plotlines.
