So how do these things work? I just tell the world what's going on? Look at me, look at me??
Got up, went to work, logged onto Flaming Bails, did some work, posted some shit on Flaming Bails, went home, did the same stuff at home.
Am I expected to make an entry every day?
I had a good shit this morning but didn't pop any pimples. Is this the sort of gear one blogs about?
What, what, WHAT????

You're not doing it right, skully.
Karti could convey the same information in a 10 page karticle of turgid prose.

Got on the piss with friends yesty evening. Hungover today, so slept all arvo.
These blogs are so typical of the social networking. Nobody really gives a flying fark what I or anyone else did today.
Look at me, look at me. What was Dello hoping to achieve?
Captain's Log, stardate 46835.

OMG, this is a great blog, Skully. However, there are no photos of your meals and no mention of how many times you farted. You need to raise your game and I look forward to reading more. Less wobbily boobs for me though.
I should've used this thread to send updates on my recent Tassie trip.
Oh well, next time.

Actually sitting in a bar at LAX sipping an Aus Cab Sav (no Shiraz available). On the way to London to see the youngest. Life's tough.
Heading off with the sprog on a road trip to the Midlands via Suffolk and Norfolk tomoz.
Some famous British town NAMES up that way. May post pics.

Off to Lincolnshire tomoz.

Did Skegness (sounds like something you'd find under a foreskin), Grimsby (grim by name, grim by nature), Squnthorpe* (where Beefy put the qunt into) and Doncaster (a lovely town/city) today.
Off to Nottingham, Leicester and Coventry tomoz.
* Had to spell it like that or was censored.

Nottingham is a nice city. Went to Trent Bridge, tried to badger various gatekeepers to let us have a look at the ground, all said "nup". Then some exec asked us if we'd like a good view and took us up to the 9th floor for an excellent view of the ground. Notts were practising before the start of play. Will post pics another day.
Leicester was a bit puss, but Coventry was beautiful.

Did you get to Lincoln Cathedral? Woodhall Spa? Scampton?
Cromer is an interesting place. Wells Next The Sea and Kings Lynn are also worth checking out if you head back down that way. If you get up round Barnsley - Dewsbury - Calder, you might run into Ang.

Nah, only as far north as Doncaster. Checked out the bombed cathedral in Coventry. Spectacular new church (for a non-God-botherer) that replaced it eventually.
Didn't really veer too much off the way the Tomtom pointed us to each new town.
Lincolnshire was notable for how often we got held up by plodding tractors on the main roads. Qunts.
Last day saw us go through Northampton, Bedford and Stevenage before making our way back to Colchester via Braintree.
Did manage a puncture on the last leg. Erm, hire cars don't have spares, would you believe, cos qunts kept pinching 'em. Had to wait 3 hours at a rest area beside to A120 for a tyre service truck to arrive. Ordinary way to finish the 4 day trip.

Oh, and I managed to catch covid. Avoided it for 3 years in Aus then caught it off a friend of the sprog (she caught it too), who we had dinner with up in Ipswich.
Had my last vax only in March so the effects of the plague didn't knock me about too much, except for a cough I can't shake. Bastard.
