Pretty ordinary game today.
Aus were poor, but the Kiwis were poorer.

That's a pretty average way to treat your players. It's not as if they didn't try.
Are they going to be granted Aussie citizenship?

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
I think there will be a very long break before International cricket resumes.
The virus is now hitting the subi-con and none of those countries have the public health wherewithal to control the spread. Sth Africa is poorly placed while the countries that make up the Windies are behind the 8 ball.
The Poms NHS will struggle on but securing and applying tough public health measures may be beyond Pomgolia's reach.
Ditto Oz's health system. Snafus like allowing passengers on a cruise ship with a history of illness and then allowing passengers to disembark and travel elsewhere is the height of negligence from the Feds and the NSW Govt.
NZ, of all the cricketing countries, seems to be ahead of the public health measures curve. Their numbers in coming months will be interesting to watch and learn from.
The great hope is development of a vaccine and that CV19 does not mutate. Delivery of the vaccine (and subsequent variants) to the 7 Billion + folk trundling around the planet will require new forms of government, reform of current social and economic formations and a regenerated UN and WHO.

Maybe 8 billion (world pop.) will be reduced by half a bill over the next 6 months.
Not my wish, but hey, those are the possibilities. I reckon Africa and South Asia could go exponential about now. And what of Central and South America?

I am afraid you may be right. It will be devastating in those areas as well as in Pacific countries. I see Modi last night ordered tough measures in BanIndia.

More or less.
It's not just NZ that will make fascinating viewing though ... the socialist paradise that is Sweden will be very interesting to watch.

The curves for new cases and fatalities in the UK are showing signs of flattening according to today's press conference.
It's still hard to see a window for any meaningful cricket, even if they try to play in October which is taking a huge gamble with the weather.
