Just had a browse of the good old C4. I miss it. There seemed to be a better atmosphere on there than what has developed on here.

I wasn't referring to that time...
I was referring to Aug 2005 onwards, when it seemed that several newbies, including myself, were hounded unnecessarily by the "old hands" like as though they owned the forum !

I have to agree though that this place has settled well and is far more tolerant of both light banter and serious exchanges ...

I was convinced at one point that lags was bumchums with the mods, he was so untouchable...

He certainly got away with a lot more than others did.
