Sri Lanka Test squad for England tour
Tillakaratne Dilshan (capt), Tharanga Paranavithana, Lahiru Thirimanne, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Thilan Samaraweera, Dinesh Chandimal, Prasanna Jayawardene (wicketkeeper), Thissara Perera, Suraj Randiv, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath, Dilhara Fernando, Chanaka Welegedara, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Pradeep.
No Malinga or Mathews apparently due to fitness issues. Bowling line-up looks pretty ordinary now, who's the leader of that attack? Batting of course remains strong but then this is early season English conditions (though only actually one May Test this year).

Yup bowling looks weak, anything other than a series win is a poor effort at home.
We could struggle as badly in the JAMODI's as we did last time they were here though.

Yeah, the JAMODIs are a different matter, but don't forget the typical post-World Cup flop bounce from the England one-day side, often happens with a new captain and a few new players looking to make an impression. Four years on most of them are long since forgotten as the plan unravels once again...

FFS I was looking forward to seeing Malinga playing test cricket again. Since December 2007, he has only played two test matches. They were both against India last year.

Unavailable for the Tests in England because of a knee injury but fit enough to play IPL. Sounds Taitish.

Tait in IPL: a lot of money for 24 balls, 18+ of which are usually pure garbage.
Good luck to him I guess. He probably can't do anything else
either

TAYPOC.
That's a series loss to us then? Bamboozled by their triumvirate of spin.

Re: Sri Lanka Test squad for England tour
Gawd. Now Malinga has retired from test cricket totally.
So Murali, Vaas & Malinga have all pulled the pin in the past two years. They are the only three Sri Lankans with more than 100 test wickets.

Malinga's test retirement was unexpected. reports say that insinuations that he chose IPL over country and feeling hurt over it could be a reason but lets wait and see what prompted him.
