How the hell Tim Paine managed to stay composed as Greg Blewett just said "Australia will probably be unchanged for the next test" is beyond me.

Paine must be cursing his ill fortune with Haddin being so awful of late.

Here's a stat comparison bluntly reflecting Australia's slide- This is Australia's 7th loss in their last 12 tests.

From August 2002 to January 2008, they lost 7 in 63 tests.

Just as well SAf had that quota thing going for a while. Amla and Philander, maybe also Prince might not have got a sniff otherwise.

Though obviously, Robin Peterson is a bit of an argument the other way ....
