Hehehe... Nigel will have your guts for garters.
Apparently Cook would get straight into our side. I'm still recovering from a chastening and indignant correction I received when questioning his credentials.
Cooks all over the place. Too many, some would say.

Meanwhile, the batsmen in have garnered a half each & go from strength to strength. Might be a first innings lead here after all. Phil to come.

Bavuma's resurrection continues. De Kock is just class.

Useful last wicket partnership tips the balance slightly in SA's favour. As always with NZ, Williamson is the key.

It seems the pitch has flattened out, so the lead is handy but kiwis not out of it if they bat really well. Great fightback by de Kock/Bavuma and the tail after SA was potentially in a parlous position.

SA arriving on kiwi shores has sort of coincided with a bit of a lapse in his scoring. He preferred the Bangers!

Maharaj finishes with six wickets. That's a Maharaja Mac moment (the McDonald's ad, not the politician).

Hopefully the result is sealed today, and not some diddly 8 runs to win tomorrow.

Sealed. Good comeback by South Africa. Possibly should look beyond Cook, though.

Three day test. Odd that SA dropped Maharaj for the Adelaide test. He seems to complement the seamers well. They did a lot of second guessing for the night test.

Dead rubber. Trying combinations. Pretty obvious.
