when fit, he walks into the side. take him and kallis out of it if you want (4 bowlers each)

Take Flintoff out and England has probaly the weakest attack in the list.

Re: best test attack at present
It's a flawed poll. Anderson wouldn't be in England's first-choice attack. And Flintoff's bowling career is - if not over - seriously in the balance.
And the state of the batting probably means England won't play a five-man attack again in a long time.
Aside from that, bang on the money.

Re: best test attack at present
I voted England. I would have voted for Australia but I think Brad Hogg drags the rest down to minnow status.

It's flawed. I can't vote for England's attack even if wanted to because with Anderson in it, it's not really representative of England's attack.
Re: best test attack at present
All the attacks are deeply flawed.
Aus - No spinner, on/off 3rd seamer (johnson)
SA - No spinner. Rookie 3rd seamer (Morkel). Home boy (Ntini)
Pakistan - All doing drugs or getting injured or hitting each other with bats. Average spinner who isn't quite good enough (Kaneria).
India - Rookie 3rd seamer who hasn't really done anything in Test cricket but is still being bummed like he's Jesus (Ishant). Home boy (Kumble). Volatile rookie (Sreesanth). Volatile veteran (Bhajji).
Sri Lanka - On/off strike bowler (Malinga). Best pace bowler is old (Vaas).
England - Don't get me started.

If you include Kallis in the yarpie attack you have to surely include Symonds for the Aussies. Both bowl as often in Tests these days.

I voted Aus.
SA's is 2nd only because its all seam up (Although some might say that about Oz)

An average of the runs scored against each attack by the leading teams over the last 2 years will perhaps provide a better answer as opposed to basing it on the merits of select invididuals listed in the poll.

Has to be SL simply because most times they get their best attack on the field.

If you include Flintoff then you should swap (a fit) MacGill for Hogg ...

I voted SA, best pace attack IMO, and Harris isn't as hopeless as some of the other spinners they have played.
India's isn't too bad either. When fully fit.

South Africa and Australia, imo. Although I guess it depends where you play. If it's in the Sub Continent then you'd probably go with Sri Lanka or India.
