It would appear that not even football comes close to the NRL's culture of alcohol, recreational drugs, and gang rapes. Surely they need to get tougher with these animals?

Look at the Johns brothers- One is a drug addict, the other a rapist. Nice family.....

Good point(s).

NRL players are a bunch of talented, overpaid and over-sexed kids and they're should be huge penalties for these sort of actions.

Now in regards to football fans, when exactly were English teams allowed back into Europe.

Well, it's an exciting day today.

Add 'Excuse to have a go at something Australian #6843' to Trev's list.

It won't win a Walkley and should have concentrated more on what was an obvious turn-a-blind-eye at all levels and interests, rather than a whole lot of people in profile with disguised voices.

But it was a backhander at Nine and Fatty which made it worthwhile.

I would have preferred that they went into the Julian O'Neill "I just shat in Schlozzy's shoe" episode

and I know Mudge is in WUM mode but there was never any indication that what M.Johns did was not consensual. (no question it was disgusting and degrading)

Did Oneill have a shoe fetish?

He got booted out of Burswood Casino for pissing on the dealer's shoes while sitting at the blackjack table when he was a Red

Well JoN was probably a heads up which was laughed off, which was what the program was sort of (in a sensationalist) sort of way saying. Plus never put a misogynist qunt like Vaughtin in charge of a quasi apology.

My point was that if you're going to market the game in a certain way you don't put the marketing strategy in the hands of turpsed up teenagers with a fistful of cash.

Smacking out a sponsor at the season launch. What part of "brain dead' don't these people understand?

I didn't really see the point of the story.

It used the unearthing of another incident back in 2002 as an excuse to trawl through the long history of footballers misbehaving in the bedroom.

The entire sport went through a period of soul searching after the Coffs Harbour incident in 2004. Forests worth of trees were devoted to the issue and League has been working (slowly) to change the culture.

It also perpetuated the myth that it's a League problem rather than a young male footballer problem.

Footballers in Sydney are no different to the footballers in Melbourne - focusing on one code does the story and the issue a disservice.

Well you got the searching bit right. They went searching for the best PR machine and got short changed.

They should've hired Dad.

"Open the door for the your mother qmy or I'll smack you up so badly".

No it's not a League problem. But I would refuse to hire a young whiz kid who can't work out the fact there are cameras everywhere.

They did nothing illegal (maybe) but I'd sack the qunts for stupidity and then sack all the other qunts all the way up to the CEO for allowing stupidity.

Sorry DG you've lost me.
