Channel Seven just reported that Michael Clarke asked to play grade cricket in Sydney today to get some more time in the middle and maybe rediscover his form.

The NSP knocked back the request.

I fully agree with Australia's selectors. He's much better off scratching around, trying to find some form against England.

FWIW Zat, our NSP has refused to let our players partake in the domestic T20 which is currently taking place.

Sydey Grade cricket is usually a pretty good standard. Unlike t20 anywhere in the world.

Clarke's lifelong batting coach Neil De'Costa is in India working for an Academy over there. No doubt they'll catch up during the World Cup.
