Ab de Villiers reckoned South Africa were "right on track" to win the game.
I reckon AB is delusional and under pressure.

de Kock needed to make 200, and they are pretty rare beasties.

He is a madcap goddie type. Of course he is delusional.
Maybe their shit bowlers like Miller DeLange let them down.

Their attack did look rather average on paper with Steyn, Philander, Abbott and Rabada on the sidelines. Well done Butler and de Kock is certainly a rising star.

They were on track if they were 3 down. Even then, they'd have had to go some.

The quote was taken out of context. He said they were on track, score and run rate wise, but had lost a couple of unnecessary wickets, including himself.

I saw the interview - that's why I mentioned 3 down - he mentioned himself and Riley. It was still a big ask.

Give it two years, an opener, a number three and a worthy successor to Jimmy Anderson - not much to ask for

Might rely on the mighty Pears unearthing some talent. Yes?

...a wicketkeeper who can keep. A spinner who can take wickets OR EVEN keep it tight... the list be endless.

Will the inclusion of Rossouw & Abbott turn the tables on England? I guess we will find out in about 90 minutes.
Re: South Africa v England, 5xODIs + 2xT20s, 3-21 February, 2016
Roussouw played in the last match. And somehow Duminy survives.

Hopefully Abbott will justify his selection. So Duminy held the tail together.
